Mr. NURIDDIN T. SHAMSOV Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Austria, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the OSCE, UNOV and other international Organizations in Vienna
Nuriddin Shamsov was born on 15 of November 1956 in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan. He graduated from TajikStateUniversity with the qualification of philologist-orientalist (Arab Philology) in 1977.
Mr.Shamsov started his career in 1977 as the Interpreter in Republic of Iraq. In 1979 he was assigned as a Researcher in the Institute of Oriental Studies, Tajik Academy of Sciences. From 1988 he worked as Interpreter in the People Democratic Republic of Yemen.
In
1990 Mr.Shamsov was assigned as a Senior Expert of the Executive
Committee of Dushanbe Mayor Office. In 1992 he was assigned as Senior
specialist, first secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Tajikistan. In
1993 he was assigned as a Head of International Organizations Section,
Department of International Organizations and International Law,
Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Tajikistan. In 1997 Mr.Shamsov was assigned as a Deputy Head of International Organizations Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Tajikistan. In 1999 he was assigned as a Deputy Head of Consular Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Tajikistan. In 2001 Mr.Shamsov was assigned as a Head of the International Organizations Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Tajikistan In May 2, 2007 Mr.Shamsov was appointed as a Charge dAffaires of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Austria, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan to the OSCE, UN Office at Vienna and other international organizations
In May 26, 2007 Mr.Shamsov was also appointed as Ambassador of Republic of Tajikistan to the Republic of Austria.
Mr.Shamsov holds diplomatic rank of Extraordinary and Plenipotentionary Ambassador. Mr.Shamsov is married and has one daughter and two sons. He speaks fluently Russian, Arabic and English.
